Watcher’s Rock

As you pause to take in the vast expanse of the Verdessa stretching out below, Ben leans against a nearby rock, gazing out at the landscape. After a moment, he speaks casually, almost to himself. “I’ve missed having Lunn around these past couple of days. Last week, I was ferrying him back and forth to Kobo’s Market constantly, helping Ren shift some cargo, that sort of thing. Made for good company on the trips.”

He glances over at you with a slight smile. “It’s funny how quickly you get used to having someone to talk to on the road. Once he’s back to his usual routine, I’ll have to find someone else to keep me entertained up there in the Swift.”
