Alluvial Ruins

Among the debris and scattered ruins at the Alluvial Ruins, you discover a weathered letter, partially degraded by exposure to the elements. The parchment is creased and worn, as if it had been carried and lost some time ago. The handwriting is Calypsa’s:

Kal,

I know you are busy with important work in the Arcology, and I hesitate to draw your attention away from such critical tasks. But the situation here has grown dire. Our caches are being emptied, and we do not know why. The Rangers need help, and the Valley itself may be at risk.

When you are able, we would be grateful for your aid. The Valley calls.

The letter is dated two days ago, squarely within the period when the caches began disappearing. No way Kal received the message. It appears to have been lost along the trail.
