Biological Outpost

As you pause to observe the area, you notice it is remarkably alive with butterflies, more than what you have ever seen gathered in such a small space. The butterflies flutter around as if summoned by a memory of something that once was there and is there no longer. All around, the grass is trampled in a strange pattern: concentric circles, as if someone had moved in loops repeatedly.
