Greenbriar Knoll

You notice a nearby tree trunk bearing a crude marking carved into its bark. It is not an intentional, well-defined sign, but rather an approximate incision that could have been made with a rock or an improvised tool. The shape vaguely resembles an “Ò” or perhaps a “Q”, though it could be interpreted in many other ways. It is difficult to say how old the marking is, but the exposed wood still appears fresh.
