You find Nal sitting quietly on a low bench near the edge of the marketplace, her eyes closed. When you approach, she opens them slowly and regards you with a calm, knowing gaze. “I’m heading to the Biological Outpost,” she says simply. “The spirits are restless. I sense something out of balance in that direction. Perhaps one of the wild kin has been drawn to our caches, or perhaps something more deliberate has occurred. The ancestors are unclear.”

She rises to her feet with fluid grace. “Check the caches in that region. Search as you would search for answers in your own heart, with patience and an open mind. What you find there may speak to us in ways we don’t yet understand.”
